Speculative Renewable Energy Settlement

Developed as a response to the climate crisis and the growing demand for renewable energy infrastructure, the project proposes a hybrid offshore settlement combining energy production, algae farming, research, education, and communal living within a single adaptive environment.
Rather than imposing itself on the landscape, the project explores ways of inhabiting and working in close dialogue with the dynamic conditions of the sea.
Inspired by the structural logic of the cuttlefish bone, the floating architecture employs a system of buoyant chambers that regulate stability and allow the settlement to adapt to changing environmental conditions.
