TRANSFORMATIONS BY WIND AND LIGHT
Architectural Design Workshop · SESAM · Nicosia, Cyprus · 2025

The workshop investigated the transformative potential of wind and light as agents of architectural design. Through material experiments, spatial interventions and temporary installations, participants explored how environmental forces shape spatial configurations, material behaviour and sensory perception. The design process focused on ephemerality, adaptability and the relationship between architecture and its changing environment, approaching space as an open system in continuous transformation.

EASA REALITY
Architectural Summer School · Kragujevac, Serbia · 2021

A two-week international educational programme bringing together architecture students from across Europe through design workshops, lectures, discussions and collective spatial experiments. Centred on the theme of reality, the programme explored architecture as a medium for examining, constructing and experiencing multiple realities, connecting experimental design practices with Kragujevac’s industrial heritage and layered urban context.

SUSPENSE
Architectural Design & Build Workshop · EASA · Rijeka, Croatia · 2018

The workshop investigated the relationship between structural tension, material properties and spatial experience through a collective design-and-build process. Explored are the structural potential of hand-tightened hemp rope through on-site experimentation, prototyping and construction. The process culminated in a temporary pedestrian structure spanning the Dead Canal of the Rječina River, establishing a physical connection between Rijeka’s historic centre and its former industrial zone.

BABEL
Architectural Design & Build Workshop · EASA · Fredericia, Denmark · 2017

Taking the biblical story of the Tower of Babel as a starting point, the workshop explored how individual architectural ideas could be developed into a collective structure through collaborative design and construction. Working on a defined site, participants translated concepts into built form from the first day, negotiating individual approaches, material constraints and shared design decisions. The process examined the relationship between individual authorship, collective decision-making and architectural coherence.

EASA.TV
Film & Documentary Workshop · EASA · Nida, Lithuania · 2016

The workshop explored audiovisual documentation as a tool for capturing and interpreting the EASA gathering. Participants learned to operate filming equipment, work with video editing software, and develop skills in cinematography, sound and narration. Through practical exercises and collective experimentation, the workshop investigated documentary filmmaking formats and the role of film in documenting, communicating and constructing narratives around architectural events and collective experiences.
